Slot diopters used to create Deep Focus dramatic near/far effects in a scene. Two lenses with cut edges are arranged with a "slot" of air between them. The slot edges of the lens are usually aligned with edges in the scene, such as a door frame. Brilliant² Rota-Slot Close-Up Lenses are mounted in a geared rotating tray for quick and easy alignment. They are equipped with our Rota-Lock to lock the lens rotation at the desired angle.
